INSTITUTIONBon Secours Degree College which is managed by the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady Of Bon Secours, was established on 6th November 2021. It is affiliated to Bengaluru City University. This college is a centre for undergraduate courses in the area of Commerce, Arts and Computer Application.
The college Management aims at empowering women in the field of education, rendering quality education at affordable cost and inculcating values of life and life skills, moulding their character, unleashing the potentials of prospective professionals and shaping them into effective, ethical and socially conscious citizens.

The faculty members who are the soul of this establishment and have been the force behind the academic excellence are equipped with the requisite knowledge to ignite creativity, blossom critical thinking and enhance communication skills in the students. Bon Secours Degree college known for its safe and secure ambiance is located at D’ Souza Circle, Austin Town Bengaluru 560047 has a prominent exterior, well maintained interior with well equipped computer laboratory, Library adequately stacked with reference books and books for light reading, well ventilated and spacious classrooms, auditorium, activity rooms and a play ground adjacent to it. The college is noted for its friendly atmosphere and community spirit.
Mother Maria Philomi
Mother General is one of the strong pillars of the congregation. She has mission an unwavering determination, dedication and devotion to her and vision. She has completed her Bachelor Of Arts in Jyothi Nivas College under Bangalore University and also completed her LLB Under the same university. Later she did her M. Ed in Annamalai University, followed by MA., M.Phil., Ph.D in English.
She has served as a Social worker in various youth groups and domestic forums. She also has served the congregation under numerous titles such as Provincial Superior at Thanjavur, Assistant Superior General, as Superior Correspondent and Head Mistress. From 2016 to till date she has been actively serving as the Superior General of the Bon Secours congregation. She has also authored many books related to Women Empowerment.
Rev. Mother has also spent a lot of energy, time and her expertise to contribute towards social welfare, education and upliftment of the economically weaker sections. One of her noble services include sponsoring Adaikala scholarship of Rs 20000/- to deserving students. She has paved the way for the birth of many other institutions and under her able leadership the congregation has flourished.
